1. SOAP CARVING

Theme – “Smile Sculpture”

Guidelines for soap carving-

  • Registration for UP Dental Show is mandatory for participating in the contest
  • The contest is for Undergraduates, Interns and Post Graduate students
  • One hour time will be allotted.
  • Participants should bring their own soap, carver, marking pencil, scale and Mackintosh sheet.
  • Last Date to Send Entries: 11th July 2026

2. WIRE BENDING

Theme- “Curves that ispire”

Guidelines for wire creative bending-

  • Registration for UP Dental Show is mandatory for participating in the contest
  • The contest is for Undergraduates, Interns and Post Graduate students.
  • One hour time will be allotted.
  • Participants should bring their own orthodontic wire, pliers, wire cutter, Mackintosh sheet.
  • Last Date to Send Entries: 11th July 2026

3. FACE PAINTING

Theme – “Expressions without words”

Guidelines for face Painting-

  • Registration for UP Dental Show is mandatory for participating in the contest
  • The contest is for Undergraduates, Interns and Post Graduate students.
  • One hour time will be allotted.
  • Participants should bring their own paint brush, paint, marking pencils.
  • Last Date to Send Entries: 11th July 2026

ONLINE COMPETITIONS

1. MEMES MAKING CONTEST

Theme: “Brace Yourself-Dental Humor Ahead”
  • Registration for UP Dental Show is mandatory for participating in the contest
  • The contest is for Undergraduates, Interns and Post Graduate students
  • Memes should be original, in JPG format and not more than 4MB in size
  • Three winners will be awarded
  • Send in your final document, along with your name, college and designation to updentalshow26@gmail.com
  • Last Date to Send Entries: 11th July 2026

Cultural Competition Guidelines

General Guidelines

  • Participants must report 30 minutes before their scheduled event.
  • Performance tracks must be submitted in advance in MP3 format to the official email: updentalshow26@gmail.com, and participants must also bring the same track in a pen drive on the day of the performance.
  • Obscene, offensive, or inappropriate content is strictly prohibited.
  • The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

Dance – Solo

  • Time limit: 3 minutes.
  • Props are allowed only if they are safe and easy to set up. The setup must be done by the participant.

Dance – Group

  • Team size: 2–10 members.
  • Time limit: 5 minutes.
  • All team members must be present 30 minutes before the performance begins.

Singing (Solo / Group)

  • Time limit: 3 minutes.
  • Participants may perform with karaoke/instrumental tracks or live accompaniment (to be arranged by the participant).
  • Songs with inappropriate lyrics are not allowed.
